Don’t let your guard down as the lockdown eases
October 17, 2021The pandemic hasn’t come to an end yet, and neither has the lockdown. However, the rules are being relaxed a little bit in several cities. It's high time normalcy was restored, at least to a certain extent. However, that doesn’t mean you should let your guard down just yet. To ensure safety, you must follow three essential steps: Distance, Mask, and Sanitize (DMS).
People from all around the world are required to follow certain protocols and guidelines, depending on the country they are residing in. There are yet any signs of the curve being flattened in India so far. The important thing to remember is that the virus is still being spread, even though the lockdown is easing out.
You should try to work from home as much as possible. Whenever you do need to go out, make sure you follow the DMS steps. Try to avoid places that are crowded as much as you can. If you do have to go to work, you should check sanitation and hygiene and consult with management about it if required. Try to maintain a system with regular sanitization of common office areas like the washroom and canteen. Make sure items like sanitizer and tissues are available at each desk.
At mealtimes, you shouldn’t sit face to face or too close in groups. You need to consider the long-term benefits, even though these steps might feel odd at first. Maintain a good routine at home as well, which includes drinking immunity booster herbal teas and steam inhalation. These practices are helpful with the seasonal changes as well.
The well-being of pregnant women, ill people, and senior citizens should be the priority. If any of those are in your family, you should take care of them and try to do their outside chores. If a doctor visit is necessary, try to go to COVID-free clinics.
