Delhi

In June of this year, I made a difficult decision in choosing to step out of my own country, comfort zone, and travel
12460 kilometers / 7742 miles to have surgery in a country I knew little of.  Deciding to travel alone to have surgery was as unsettling to me as it was for my family and friends.  However, I knew firmly I was not willing to, nor could I on my own, pay the outlandish medical fees the USA enforces. Furthermore, over a year and a half of trying to remedy my presenting GYN health issue with US Doctors, I felt as if I were running in circles and ultimately getting no where.

Through just shy of 5 months of research on overseas surgical options, I found Forerunners Healthcare online through a Google search. Yes...laughing...a Google search.  I sent off a simple inquiry to Forerunners Healthcare and they contacted me back immediately with detailed information and options available.  Finally, I felt my voice was being heard and I was getting somewhere.

Forerunners presented me with the info and suggested recommendation to have elective surgery with Nova Medical Centers/ Apollo Spectra Specialties in New Delhi, India. BEST DECISION I've ever made! I took a huge leap of faith and booked my airfare and set the ball in motion for what would eventually become a remedy for my health issues and a astounding renewal in my faith.

My multiple surgeries on October 20th were a success.  My recovery is naturally on going for a short time, however has been remarkable as I have had little to no discomfort. I am renewed and feel fabulous. Overall, I feel like living again.

It is with great appreciation, thankfulness, and genuine love, I applaud you, the doctors and surgeons who physically helped me, the housekeeping staff who kept my room clean, the cafeteria who kept me fed and loaded with coffee, the security staff who protected me and held my hand crossing the busy streets of New Delhi, and the countless others who became friends/family across this magnificently beautiful Globe. Each of you hold a special and sacred place in my heart.

I love you all from the deepest depths of my heart. If there is anything I can do to set another's mind at ease on their personal journey to India for surgery with Apollo...please let me know.  I will be there for you as you were for me and all of my family.
