This type of method is performed under the doctor’s supervision and with precision. The doctor makes a small incision on the affected area and squeezes out the cyst. After the process, the wound is bandaged, and to avoid infection, antibiotics are to be consumed by the patient. The wound will leave a permanent mark and will heal within 1-2 weeks.

Fine Needle Aspiration

This type of removing cyst is traditional in nature. Here instead of an incision, a needle is inserted into the cyst to drain fluid.

Surgeries require a lot of knowledge and practice and should be done by an expert only like the specialists at the Apollo Spectra, Jaipur. In this method, the cyst is cut open and removed by the doctor. Surgical removal of the cyst tends to leave a scar for a lifetime.

This method is only used for internal cysts like ovarian cysts. Here the doctors insert a laparoscope (a thin camera) inside the uterus to view and remove the cyst. This process involves a lot of incisions inside and outside the surface, which means it takes around 3-4 weeks to heal completely.

Removal of cysts is not usually necessary and may go away naturally unless it is internal. But do not try to remove the cyst on your own. There are a lot of risks involved in removing a cyst on your own or even through surgery.
