TLH Surgery in Chunni-ganj, Kanpur

TLH surgery, also known as total laparoscopic hysterectomy is performed to remove the uterus.

TLH surgery in Kanpur is often performed to treat uterine fibroids. Uterine fibroids are tumors that grow inside a woman’s womb. In these cases, the patient may require to remove some tissues of the uterus or the complete uterus.

The other case where TLH surgery may be required is pelvic inflammatory. Pelvic inflammatory is a disease or an infection of the female reproductive system.

How the procedure is performed?

Local anesthesia is given to the patient that numbs the lower body or general anesthesia may be given to numb the whole body. After the anesthesia is given, the surgeon may make a 5 to 7-inch cut (horizontal or vertical) through the abdominal wall. Through the cut, the uterus is taken out.

The other way of performing a procedure may involve vaginal surgery. In vaginal surgery, a cut is made on the top of the vagina and the uterus is removed through the cut. This may leave no scar behind.

Laparoscopic surgery may also perform the removal of the uterus. In this surgery, small cuts are made on the abdomen for removing the uterus.

Radical TLH surgery: this type of TLH surgery involves the removal of tissues and structures around the uterus that contain the elements of cancer.
