My name is Jagdish Chandra and I am 70-year-old from Kanpur. From last one year, I was suffering from knee pain. Initially, it was on my first knee then gradually I started experiencing pain in both of my legs. In beginning, it was very intense so initially, I tried Ayurvedic treatment and some oil massage on the knee, which initially gave me relief from the pain but then gradually it became so painful that I was not able to walk. Due to this pain, I was not able to concentrate on my business. Before this, I was very much involved in my business activity. I am a very religious person and I like to do sewa of my gurus in the ashram, but due to this knee pain I was not able to travel to Ashram and I was very upset with this because I was doing the Seva for many years. Then, through one of my family friend, I come to know about Dr. A. S. Prasad. My relative had also undergone the knee surgery and she was doing good after the surgery. She started to walk and do normal activities just like before. So, she advised me to consult Dr. A.S. Prasad. I consulted Dr. A. S. Prasad for this and after seeing my report he advised me for surgery of both the knees. I got admitted to Apollo Spectra Kanpur on 3 November 2017 for my surgery and I got operated for my first knee on 4th November. After the first surgery, I haven’t felt the pain. With continuous physiotherapy, my pain was controlled nicely and I got prepared for my second operation for the knee just after three days. I got operated for both the knees in the gap of 2-3 days but everything was so smooth that I didn't face any issue or discomfort. I’m getting discharged today, on 10th of November and in a short period of time I’m able to walk with the help of Walker and I am able to stand. There is no pain while walking on my knees. The services were really very good and the staff was very polite and courteous. I think if the staff is good with the patient in terms of behaviour, the patient feels very comfortable. I’m thankful to Dr. A.S. Prasad and the staff of Apollo Spectra hospital for their courteous and helping behaviour with me during my stay in this hospital. I am very much happy with the services provided by the hospital.

My name is Jitendra & I’m 34-year-old, a resident of Raibareli, UP. I am working as a manager in a finance company at Raibareli. From 2014, I was suffering from pain in the hip joint and had difficulty in walking, was unable to climb steps and sleep on side. For my pain, I consulted with many doctors in Raibareli but couldn’t get any relief from pain. Then, I went to Lucknow hospital for consultation for this issue, where I took treatment for about one month. My pain was controlled after taking medicine but when I stopped taking it, I started having the same issue. It had affected my daily routine as every day I used to wake up with intense pain which has made my life miserable. It had affected my professional life as well as I was not able to do my outdoor work. From one of my Friend, I came to know about Dr. A. S. Prasad, as his mother also got operated by Dr Prasad for knee and results were really very good. When I consulted Dr. Prasad for the first time, he advised some medicine for one month. My pain was controlled, but only when I took the medicine. The condition of my bone was really poor. Than Dr. Prasad advised me for THR as due to lack of blood supply, my bones were getting weak. As my pain was affecting my personal & professional life, I took the decision to get my hip replaced. My first surgery was done in 2015 and after a year we have planned for my second one. For this surgery, I got admitted to Apollo Spectra Kanpur on 31 October 2017 and got operated on 1st November. With the help of the experienced team of Dr. Prasad and excellent medical care by the staff of this hospital, my THR was successfully accomplished. After my surgery, with the help of specialized physiotherapy & exercise, I am able to do my all routine work normally. There is no pain in walking, I can easily climb steps without any help. My office is also on the second floor. Before surgery, it was very difficult to go on the second floor but now I’m confident and can easily reach to my workplace. Now, I am also able to do my outdoor office work. Now my life is on normal track as now I don’t have to compromise with any physical activity. I got this problem at a very early age. I was worried about my future and how I will take care of my family & responsibilities, but I’m thankful to Dr. A. S. On the evening of November 4th, my aunt suffered a severe fall, which led to immense pain and she wasn’t able to stand up on her own. Without any delay, we took her to the family doctor and got the required X-rays done. The results indicated that she had endured a fracture in the femur of her left leg. On the advice from the family doctor, we took my aunt to the Apollo Spectra in Kanpur where she was under the care of Dr. Manav Luthra. As a surgery was vital, we got her admitted. Since my aunt was a diabetic and above 80 years of age, Dr. Luthra patiently walked us through all the risks and complications involved. My aunt’s surgery was a high-risk case. However, Dr. Luthra and his team were exceptional. They kept boosting our confidence and kept us calm. The surgery was successful and post-surgery the hospital staff took excellent care of my aunt. My mother was suffering from bouts of knee pain from 2013. The pain was never constant and would come and go. However, slowly it started getting severe. And, it got so bad that she could not even climb the stairs. Through an acquaintance, we came to know about Dr. A.S Prasad. After the consultation, Dr. Prasad recommended that we opt for a knee replacement surgery for my mother and in 2013 she underwent her first TKR surgery. It was a success and slowly with the help of physiotherapy, she started walking on her own. This year, we wanted her to get the knee replacement done for the second knee. But, because of a sudden fracture, the operation was postponed. For a proper treatment of the fracture, we chose Dr. Prasad as he is one of the best orthopaedic surgeons. Again, because of Dr. Prasad's experience and care, the surgery was successful and in a few days, my mother started walking again. A few months later, we got her second knee replacement done, by Dr. Prasad. This surgery also included the repair of the femur. The surgery was a success and post-surgery, she was transferred to the ICU for observation. She was given regular pain management consultations and physiotherapy because of which she recovered faster than expected. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. A.S Prasad and the whole team of Apollo Spectra.

I was suffering from severe discomfort while passing urine. When this became a regular concern, I consulted a homoeopathic doctor who prescribed me a few medicines.
