After having done your biopsy test, you should avoid activities where you need great effort for 2-3 days. You may feel soreness in the area the biopsy was performed and have a small amount of bleeding.
It totally depends on the area and the surrounding tissue where the test was performed but most commonly the site heals within 2-3 weeks.
Patients may be allowed to go home right after the biopsy test but may require time to go back to normal activities. More invasive procedures may require a longer time period for recovery.
