  • Natural hormonal changes, for instance, puberty
  • Taking certain medications
  • Consuming illegal drugs and too much alcohol
  • Health problems, such as tumors

How is Gynecomastia Treated?

When you visit your doctor, he will ask you a few questions about your medical and drug usage history to analyze the reason for your condition to offer the right treatment plan. Along with that, your doctor may suggest a few tests, and they are;

If your condition is due to the medicines you are taking, your doctor will ask you to stop taking those medicines and prescribe you an alternative for the same. Medications: Medicines may be used to treat the condition. It includes Tamoxifen or Arimidex.

Although there are myths that this treatment can lead to prostate cancer, you must talk to your doctor for more information. It can sometimes lead to sleep apnea, cardiovascular problems, and excess red blood cell production.
