Dr. A. P. Subash Kumar

Dr. A. P. Subash Kumar is graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery, MBBS, from Madras Medical College, India. He completed his post graduate training and experience in the UK and obtained his FRCS/CCST from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, 2004.

His higher post graduate training in Breast and Endocrine Surgery was in University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, UK. He completed a Fellowship in Breast Surgery in Miami, Florida, USA.

He moved to Singapore to start a comprehensive Breast Unit at the new hospital, KTPH in Yishun.  He then moved to KK Hospital, Breast Center, as a Senior Consultant.

He is now, in full time private practice in Breast Surgery at Apollo Speciality Hospital, Teynampet / Chennai, India.

Mastectomy, Reconstructive Surgery,Breast Cancer Treatment, Lumpectomy and Breast Reduction etc &Breast Cancer is a fascinating and rewarding branch in Oncology. There is a lot of work and hence interest generated in this field, especially in India, where there is going to be an exponential rise in the incidence of this disease. If early detection and state of the art concepts in management are introduced, it will make a phenomenal difference to our population at large.
